This very early model 1892 has a low serial number 4xx, the receiver has 80% bluing, the 24" octagon barrel and magazine tube has 95% bluing, this rifle was sent back to Winchester and had a silencer added now there is a protective ring on the muzzle, the bore is a 9 from 1 to 10, the butt stock and forearm are very good with the forearm having T.H. on the right side, the barrel sights are standard sporting plus a tang sight, letters with Cody. |
